What it costs to run
Running Bound in private beta costs about RM440 a month. These are estimates from our own plans, updated October 2026.

As more people drive with Bound
Rented services charge per use, so the bill grows with every driver. At about 10,000 drivers a month, renting everything would cost roughly RM15,000–20,000 a month.
That’s why we are moving the biggest bills onto our own servers: serving our own map instead of paying for every tile, then running our own routes. Your support pays for that work, and for the time it takes.
How to support Bound

In the app
Open Profile & settings, then Support Bound, and pick Teh tarik, Nasi lemak or Durian. It’s one payment, not a subscription. Any amount unlocks the trip and toll diary, seven more vehicles and paint colours, for good.
Apple or Google handle the payment and keep a share. We never see your card.

DuitNow QR
Scan with any Malaysian banking or e-wallet app and pay any amount, with nothing taken off the top.
Check the name before you pay. Your banking app should show NG QI HENG, the same name as in our privacy policy. If it shows any other name, stop: it isn’t Bound’s QR. We only ever show it here, on get-bound.app.
On your phone? Save the QR image, then open it from your banking app’s scan screen.
This is the founder’s personal account for now. A business account for Bound is being set up; when it’s ready this QR will change, and we’ll say so here. A DuitNow gift doesn’t unlock the supporter features in the app, because Bound has no accounts to link it to your phone.
